El objetivo de este trabajo es el estudio de los mss. Scon¡alensis g-III-2 (E) y Toletanus49-16 (T) de C. Nepote. E es un ms. misceláneo, en pergamino, de finales del s. XV, copiado por F. R. Ruciani; sólo contiene el De Excelentibas tiucibas exterarum gentiain y los Versas AcniiIii Proh¡. T es un ms. en papel, copiado por Giorgio Antonio Vespucci; contiene sólo el Dc excellentibas... Las filigranas de papel y la letra de Vespucci permiten datar el ms. en 1458-68. Después del estudio de los mss. puede verseque: a) E y T descienden del mismo arquetipo que los otros mss. («z»); b) pertenecen a la rama que desciende de A; c) E y 1 están copiados de un mismo ms. «o»; d) «o» y, por tanto, E y T se relacionan conel primer grupo de mss. que descienden de A, especialmentecon el Sangellensis; e) la aportación de Ey T al texto no es impostante; sólo pueden destacarse la lectura Ati Admetam (them. 8.3), de E y T, y la separación del DeRegibas de Timoleon, de T. E is a miscellaneous ms. on parchment from the end of the 1 Sth century, copied by FR. Ruciani; it only contains theDe excelentibus tiucihas cxterarum gentium and the Versas Aemilii Probi. T is a ms. on paper, copied by Giorgio Antonio Vespucci; it only contains the De excellentibas... The watermarks and Vespuccis handwriting date this ms. in 1458-68. After the study ofthe mss. we infer: a) E and T descend from the same archetype as the other mss. («zs>); b) they belong to the family which descend from A; c) E and T copied from the same ms. «o»; d) «o» and, therefore, E and 1 are related to the first group of mss. descending from A, particularly to the Sangallensis; e) the contribution of E and T has not been considerable; the reading Ademetum (Them 8.3), in E and T, andthe separation of De regibus from Timoleon, in T, are the only things which are relevant. |
